Fanfare

A hand painted study of a full dahlia in rich raspberry and deep pink, set against a softly contrasting graphic background. Part of a series of nine small dahlia studies, celebrating the individuality of each flower through colour, form and contrasting painted grounds.

Painted in oils on a wooden panel, the artwork is presented in a solid wood tray frame, allowing a subtle shadow gap around the painting. Finished with a satin varnish for lasting protection and a gentle sheen, and completed with Nay Bellamy’s hand painted signature.
